Tasks:
- Cooperates with the sales team in the assigned geographical area in defining and identifying specific input needs of farms, with special focus on, but not limited to crop protection product line;
- Addresses farmers’ needs properly, formulates solutions / recommendations that meet customer demands;
- Supports the area managers at farm gate discussions with discovering farmers’ actual need for solution and giving professional answers;
- Brings new farm sales to area managers;
- Anticipates customer demand development trends, provides contribution in the creation and delivery of appropriate services, products, solutions in crop inputs;
- Brings proposals for new services, innovative services and tools;
- Keeps up to date with latest farming technologies and crop input product developments;
- Continuously monitors crop line profitability of key crops at farm level;
- Acts as territorial crop analyst, visits farmers, collects the information and shares with crop analyst team and takes part in information processing.
Requirements:
- MSc of Agronomy (Agriculture), completed with relevant postgraduate degree of crop protection;
- Few years of relevant agronomical work experience, in crop farming or with businesses providing crop input products, direct crop protection and /or advisory experience is a strong plus;
- Experience in exposure to sales processes and direct interactions with sales force and customers;
- Working knowledge of English;
- Strongly pro-active, dynamic, able to cope with the requirements of field work;
- Well organized, methodical, structured & logical thinking;
- Ability to prioritize work and time under pressure and in seasonal peaks;
- Driving licence B;
- Computer skills MS Office.
The person in this position will report to the Crop Inputs Manager.
