THIS YEAR ABOUT 230 MILLION EURO WORTH EXPORT CONNECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE AND ABOUT 5 MILLION MR GREENHOUSE CONSTRUCTION ORDERS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. THE TURKISH GREENHOUSE CONSTRUCTURES CONCLUDED AGREEMENTS TO ESTABLISH GREENHOUSES IN IRAN, AZARBAIJAN AND JORDAN AND ALSO SIGNED NEW CONTRACTS FOR ESTABLISHMENTS IN TURKEY. THE CONFERENCE SUBJECT OF THE FAIR HAPPENED TO BE “COUNT US IN!... AGRICULTURE AND WOMAN”. THE WOMAN TRAINERS AND FARMERS FROM USA AND JAPAN INFORMED TURKISH WOMAN FARMERS TO ESTABLISH AND MANAGE THEIR OWN FARMS AND TO MAKE PROFIT THEREOF. THE “CREATIVE PRODUCERS” WERE THE STARS OFTHE FAIR IN THE FIRST TWO DAYS.
The 12th Growtech Eurasia International Greenhouse, Agriculture Equipments and Technologies Fair, being organized by NTSR Fuarcilik, indeed hit the spot thanks to a total of 230 million Euro amounting export agreements, initial contracts with Iran, Azerbaijan and Jordan for the establishment of greenhouses, new purchase orders from Holland, Spain, Germany and Russia. The 12th Growtech Eurasia Agriculture Fair this year generated a commerce volume exceeding 1 billion Euro and hosted for 230 million Euro export connections. 5 million m2 new greenhouse construction orders are taken in the Growtech Eurasia Agriculture Fair. 512 national and international exhibitors from 23 countries are hosted including visitors from Germany, USA, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, China, Denmark, Finland, France, South Korea, India, Holland, England, Iran, Spain, Israel, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Canada, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Egypt, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Turkey, Jordan, Greece and Uzbekistan.
The high number of foreign participation to the Growtech Eurasia Fair this year is important for the industry. The Turkish greenhouse constructers particularly besides the seed producers and the seedling producers established significant connections with abroad. Also, the new irrigation, heating and power systems arriving from Holland, Germany, USA, Canada and Denmark captured a great interest by the Turkish producers.
Growtech Agriculture Awards Rewarded The Success
Growtech Eurasia 5th Agriculture Awards, designed to reward activities that will bring innovation to agriculture sector and provide added value to the agricultural production, are given to Aşçi Murat Kapari, Beta Sulama, Birkan Tarim-Pessl Ins.GmbH, Elimko, Letafet, Meb Metal, Tarim Kredi Koop., Yüksel Tohum, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Department of Training, Extension and Publication, Hasad Magazine.
The contest reviewed projects that provided added value to the Turkish agriculture for the purpose of promoting quality production and generalizing modern agricultural techniques and assessed the applications on Entrepreneurship and Innovation categories.
