DEUTZ-FAHR presents the 7 Series ST: top-level traction.

DEUTZ-FAHR extends its high power tractor range with the new 7 Series ST, developed to provide the highest levels of efficiency and productivity, especially in heavy cultivation and transportation. The new 7 Series ST 200-220 stands out for its for long wheelbase, SMARTronic Powershift transmission, front axle with dedicated braking system and MaxiVision cab, winner of the 2014 German Design Award for ergonomics and design.

The 7 Series ST range represents the evolution of the Agrotron L, recognised for its traction, with important advances in terms of overall machine efficiency and comfort. The transmission block has been redesigned around the SDF SMARTronic transmission with a new front support and greater front axle capacity, also when braking due to the wet disc brakes. The long wheelbase makes it possible to meet the needs of heavier work and in general to cope with the most extreme conditions. The result is an exceptional machine for heavy cultivation and road transport.

The new Deutz Tier 4i Common Rail six-cylinder, four valve per cylinder engines provide the same power as previous models at just 2000 rpm, increasing available torque and ensuring lower power consumption, operating costs and noise.

The SMARTtronic transmission also provides quality and efficiency in the 12+12 gears which can be engaged under load for field work and during transport. With the addition of nine low ratio gears, the speeds increase to 33+33, allowing the 7 Series ST range to also be capable of slow-speed work. The APS device electronically selects the optimum gear for each change in load or engine speed and provides a safe and smooth driving experience. The Sense Clutch shuttle with reactivity modulation also allows the driver to adjust the degree of aggressiveness when changing the direction of travel to suit operating conditions.

The MaxiVision cab is the new point of reference in terms of comfort and ergonomics: intuitive controls, multifunction armrest, high-quality materials and spaciousness of the cab create a comfortable work environment. All with the unmistakable style derived from the manufacturer's long-standing collaboration with the Giugiaro Design. Winner of the 2013 German Design Award, the high-tech driver area of the new MaxiVision cab sets new standards in terms of ergonomics and functionality: provides a driver seat with low-frequency dynamic suspension and automatic levelling, improved air-conditioning plus a padded passenger seat. The main controls are grouped in the MaxCom armrest, the central dashboard has a Softgrip steering wheel and InfoCenter. The 12´´ touchscreen iMonitor 2, the largest on the market, makes it possible to adjust and manage numerous tasks and can be equipped with the Agrosky satellite automatic driving device with work accuracy of up to 2 centimetres.

With the 7 Series ST, DEUTZ-FAHR offers a new concept of productivity for the heaviest and most demanding jobs such as ploughing and fast transportation.
