Case IH Branded Police Tractor

We have loaned one of our tractors to Suffolk police in partnership with Ernest Doe in Marlesford in order to raise awareness of rural crime. The Tier 4 Puma 160, sporting full police livery and blue LED repeater lights will be used to aid the police campaign ‘Shutting the gate on rural crime’. The unit includes a fitted tracker to promote tractor safety and even features rear fenders and fend off lights. The vehicle is intended to attract the attention of the public at upcoming shows and events and will be making appearances at the Suffolk and Norfolk shows, Essex Young Farmers and the Case IH stand at Cereals in June. It is hoped the Case IH tractor will highlight the importance of protecting rural properties.

Efficient Power Spring Demo Tour

We had two great events last month at Kildalton College in Co Kilkenny and Greenmount Campus in Co Antrim as part of our Efficient Power Spring Demo Tour. We had excellent attendance and customers were given the opportunity to operate Puma models to get a feel for the transmissions and cab comfort and were able to test their own skills Vs. those of the Puma guidance system. The Case IH team provided an informative demonstration showing a significant fuel saving when using the Efficient Power Tractor in comparison to the Tier 3. Tests undertaken at these colleges showed a total financial saving (combined fuel and Adblue) of between 13% and 15% verses a Tier 3. Incidentally the DLG Puma 180 Tier 3 was a very fuel efficient machine being 7% better than the average of those tested.

Our upcoming demo events on our Efficient Power Spring Tour will be held on 17th April at Askham Bryan College York, 20th April at Shuttleworth College Bedford, 24th April at Harper Adams University College and 27th April in Cirencester Gloucestershire. Please contact your local dealer if you’re interested.

Quadtrac World Record Attempt

This summer, Case IH will be taking part in a world record attempt - the most Quadtracs cultivating in one field. We will be sponsoring the event which is being organised by Helen Rainthorpe who has just taken over her family farm in Lincolnshire. It will be held in memory of her father John Rainthorpe and will raise money for the Cancer Research Charity Relay For Life. The event is open to those wishing to enter their own Quadtrac and for those who fancy coming along for the day to watch or donate towards a worthy cause. The event will be held at Westhall Farm Welton, Lincolnshire on 28th July 2012. For more information on how to get involved and how to donate, please visit www.quadtracrecord.co.uk or www.facebook.com/quadtracrecord
