In his new role, Mr Lhotte will be based at AGCO’s manufacturing facility in Beauvais, France. From a farming family, he has a Diploma in Agriculture from the Institut Supérieur Agricole in Beauvais. He joined Massey Ferguson in 1988, holding positions in Service, Product Management and Marketing for Beauvais products, before moving to the role of Director Sales for Massey Ferguson in France from 1994. Between 2000 and 2001 he also led the Massey Ferguson Sales team in Germany. With the growth of AGCO in EAME, Mr Lhotte then became Country Manager, France. He headed AGCO Distribution SAS which is responsible for sales of all AGCO brands in the largest market in Europe.

With this new appointment, Mr Lhotte succeeds Declan Hayden who has been appointed AGCO Vice President, Global Sales and Operations Planning.
