A MULTI-PURPOSES TANKER
The Pichon Flowmaster distinguishes itself by the use of a sole centrifugal pump at the extremity of the turret arm:
- To fill the tank to 100% (thanks to the return circuit to the pit),
- To mix the slurry within the tanker,
- To feed all application tool (dribble bars, injectors...),
- To stir the manure into the pit.
The centrifugal pump is operated by a hydraulic drive unit. The Hydraulic pump is driven by the tractor PTO shaft at 1000 rpm, with a 100 l / min flow at 300 bars. Working rates obtained are very high.
A GREAT VERSATILITY
The pumping occurs either directly into the pit by immersing the centrifugal pump or with a cone (for unreachable pits or plastic lagoons).
While working with a cone, an auxiliary pump creates vacuum for starting the centrifugal pump. This pump is equipped with a removable coupling ball to guarantee the airtightness during the filling.
The compressor can also fill the tank in the traditional way without using the autofillers (eg. manual valves...).
Pichon has developed a new control box of the solenoid valves on CAN to program automated sequences during pumping and spreading.
By September 2010, the CAN control unit will be set up as standard to activate the electro-hydraulics functions.
This system presents many advantages:
- Concept and working operations are simple
- Easy and reduced maintenance
- High filling and spreading flows
As an option, spreading can be regulated by the in cab electronic flow controller according to parameters (speed, working width, flow required).
