It just had to be a HARDI sprayer
Mr. Hodosan purchased the first HARDI sprayer imported by NHR Agropartners in Romania. Simple, strong and easy to work and spray with for all his men.

In total I farm 1.800 ha, and personally own 150 ha. I started farming in 2000 and since then we have worked hard on improving the facilities and expanded the number of ha continuously. Today in 2010, 14 employees are working here. The development of this area has my full attention, and we monitor, organise, purchase and rent farm land all over in this region.
The sprayer is an important machine
The RANGER with a 20m EAGLE boom is the most efficient sprayer on my farm. I also have a small liftmounted and a home made sprayer, currently used as back-up. The RANGER is easy to drive, fill and maintain. Our spray capacity has increased, and the RANGER is very reliable in operation. I hope to purchase a HARDI NAVIGATOR next season to get even more capacity.The importance of spraying at the right time and with the right dose, getting good coverage with an efficient sprayer is becoming more and more clear to me.
I dream of an ALPHA self-propelled
To be even more efficient in the long run, my dream is to add a self-propelled HARDI ALPHA to our line of machines. The farming industry develops very fast, and I strive to run and manage my farm effi ciently and profitably with a constant eye for the future possibilities."
High efficiency with the ALPHA TWIN
In 1998 Mr. Voicu started farming 30 ha. Through vision and clever farming the farm has constantly grown and does now represent 3,700 ha
"I started with only 30 ha and have continuously invested in land and machinery. Now I rent 2500 ha and own 1200 ha which are split into 2 different locations. Reliable and competent service
My relation with NHR Agropartners is essential and dates back to 2004. NHR Agropartners provided a competent service and quick response to the few matters on the sprayer thereby avoiding any serious downtime during the season 2010.
From 14 to 4 men
The spray window has increased signifi cantly , because the TWIN system allows us to spray under more difficult weather conditions. 14 men worked with spraying in the past. Now, due to the effi ciency of the TWIN air system, high clearance and capacity of the ALPHA, it is possible for 4 men to complete all spraying. Cost savings on labour are estimated to 12,000 - 15,000 euro per year.
More value for money
Working hours, driving hours, maintenance, chemical costs and fuel costs are all factors that infl uence the total result. It takes approx. 15 min. to fi ll the tank with an external pump, and 50 - 75 min. to spray a full tank. I save 8,000 euro in fuel cost per year using the self-propelled ALPHA versus 3 tractors with trailed sprayers.
From 3 to 1 sprayer
Efficiency, capacity and high quality were key factors in my motivations to purchase the ALPHA. Prior to this investment I was operating 3 trailed sprayers. Today I cover all my fi elds with the self-propelled ALPHA. Additionally, I perform contract spraying to other farmers in the area.
TWIN air system
Our capacity has increased dramatically. Now, we can reduce l/ha up to 50% and thereby spray more ha on one tank. Driving speed when spraying is 15 km/h with full control of drift. I expect to reduce chemical cost up to 20% while maintaining excellent crop protection. We plan to start in 2011 to spray with liquid fertilizer twice per season. Yet another benefi t of ALPHA TWIN.
With ALPHA TWIN I can improve my standards
Within 15 km Mr. Herteg has all his farm land placed and in the spray season they start at 7 o’clock in the morning and spray until 7 o’clock in the evening.

Top quality in focus
I am always focusing on making farming more effi cient and profi table. This year (2010) I invested in a self-propelled ALPHA TWIN to replace helicopter spraying. The ALPHA provides excellent drift control, precise and high quality spraying under all weather conditions.
Top farming requires focus on high standard in all elements of arable farming like seeding, fertilizing, irrigation and reliable crop protection. To experiment and develop I also co-operate with F.N.P.A.P. and use different sorts of seeds. In 2009, 500 farmers came to visit and inspect the final and positive result of my harvest.

TWIN air system
With TWIN air system I expect to reduce the chemical use by 20% per ha. Additionally, we can reduce drift and thereby obtain better penetration and coverage of the plant, and ultimately get higher quality and yields. Further the TWIN air system allows us to use lower water volumes, thereby increasing the capacity up to 100%."
