EIMA, a successful “brand”

The fourth edition of EIMA Agrimach heads toward its conclusion with a very positive result and a number of visitors that is expected to exceed by more than 30% the result of last year (32,000). During the New Delhi exhibition was also presented the 2016 edition of EIMA International, the remarkable agricultural mechanics exposition to be held in Bologna next November, of which EIMA Agrimach represents the Asian “spin off”.

Great participation of visitors at the fourth edition of EIMA Agrimach, the international exhibition of agricultural mechanics heading toward its conclusion this afternoon in New Delhi after three intense days with pavillions attended by farmers and traders, field tests and a rich programme of conferences on technical and political-economic themes crucial for the economy and agriculture in India and the vast Asian area. Organized by the Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation FICCI and the Italian Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers FederUnacoma, the New Dehli exhibition was born from the experience of EIMAInternational, the remarkable agricultural mechanics exposition that FederUnacoma itself is organizing in Bologna, to be held from 9 to 13 November 2016 in its 42nd edition.

EIMA International respresents one of the most important events of the sector in the world – explained the President of FederUnacoma Massimo Goldoni in the press conference concerning this future event, held yeasterday afternoon – thanks to the presence of more than 1,900 exhibiting companies on an total area of 375,000 m² and with operators coming from all over the world, that in its last edition (November 2014) reached 235,000 units. EIMA Agrimach has the same setting of its “mother exhibition” – explained Goldoni – with a wide range of technologies and a special attention to innovations, strategies and models of development for agriculture in different areas of the world. Above all – added Goldoni, addressing to an audience composed of journalists from India but also from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam – it has a “business-to-business” orientation and an international appeal, in view of the increasingly globalized market of agricultural mechanization.

Among the elements of originality characterizing EIMA Agrimach compared with the other specialized exhibitions – explained the FederUnacoma Director of Events Marco Acerbi – it should be noted the building of a vast outdoor area, allowing the participants to see the mechanical means in action and appreciate their technical and functional characteristics. The EIMA Agrimach formula proved to be successful – added Acerbi – and the number of visitors of this 2015 edition is widely confirming it: the data updated this morning seem to confirm an increase of over 30% compared to the total (32,000 visitors) achieved in the last edition of December 2013. The positive result of the Indian exhibition – concluded Acerbi – is encouraging for further projects of exhibitions that FederUnacoma and FICCI are developing in other countries of South-East Asia.
