SERVO 45 S: The plough for tough applications

Agro Napló
The plough continues to play a major role in modern arable farming. On no other machine, however, is the bandwidth of individual requirements (dictated by widely varying soil conditions worldwide) as wide as for the plough. Offering 58 different models of SERVO plough, Pöttinger is able to perfectly cover this bandwidth. New to the SERVO family is an all-rounder for the toughest applications: the SERVO 45 S is strong, reliable and robust.

Servo 45 S Nova Plus

Available as a 6-furrow NOVA or NOVA PLUS version, it is designed for up to 350 hp. On the NOVA version a frame pivoting cylinder is provided as standard, while the NOVA PLUS version is supplied with a furrow width memory cylinder. With an inter-body spacing of 95 cm, an under beam clearance of 80 cm and the long, full-length main plough beam bearing that carries the main beam tube, all the requirements for tough applications are met in full. The use of high tensile materials enables higher driving speeds and a longer service life. As standard, the 6-furrow version is also fitted with double bearings on the mounting axle (Cat III/ width III).

Thanks to the unique SERVOMATIC control centre, the plough can be matched to the tractor quickly and easily. This enables a perfect setup to ensure the low draft of the SERVO in all operating conditions. The leading body furrow width and pulling point can be adjusted individually without affecting each other. This is a great advantage, especially with hydraulic furrow width adjustment, since no correction is required. Just a few adjustments are needed and then the initial settings are finished.

Thanks to the large selection of different mould boards, from short turning mould boards to long drawn-out mould boards to slatted mould boards, every customer will find the ideal shape for their location.

Improved traction for mounted ploughs through "Traction"

The "Traction" expansion module makes it possible - even on SERVO 45 S 6-furrow mounted ploughs - to transfer weight from the plough to the tractor. Transmitting force through the Traction system optimises the ground tracking of the plough at the same time as applying a permanent load to the rear wheels of the tractor. This reduces wheel slip and prevents harmful smearing of the soil surface caused by the rear wheels.
