Managing partner of the Bauer Group, Otto Roiss on this development: “The previous owner of the company, Christiaan Seegers, as well as the most important employees are remaining at the company and will be integrated into the Eckart production site in Schaufling bei Deggendorf. The plan is to make use of the modern in-house plastic production capabilities at Eckart in order to begin in-house manufacturing of the slurry tank that mounts to the Claas Xerion tractor. Mr. Seegers will in future focus more intensively on sales activities and innovations. The development, production and after-sales service will be taken over by the Bauer Group and professionally organized. With the industrial manufacturing and the high quality standards of the Bauer Group, we expect extensive synergy effects for the products of SGT.”

Agritechnica: New Xerion at the Bauer stand

A Claas Xerion with the new SGT tank and new 900 kg lighter front unit will already be available for viewing at Agritechnica at the stand of the Bauer Group (hall 23 stand A05). “With this acquisition, the Bauer Group further highlights its competence in slurry and wastewater technology,” emphasizes Roiss.
