Q-BIGLINER

The Belgian company JOSKIN, which is specialized in agricultural trailers as well as in slurry and muck spreaders, extends its range of slurry spreaders with a new series of tankers with a large volume and a high quality.

Another transport tanker, the Tetraliner, has already been presented during the Agritechnica trade fair. Just like this spreader, the Q-Bigliner is intended for transportation on roads and in the fields. These two tankers allow to meet the current requirements of slurry working cycles.

Contractors and operators of biogas plants can be glad of this new product because it can be used in an optimal and advantageous way on mid-long journeys. It can be particularly useful for farmers who drive tankers to containers on the edge of the field on contractors´ behalf.

The Q-Bigliner was developed on the basis of the chassis of the Euroliner triple-axle slurry tanker and is fitted with a fixed drawbar (vs. turntable on Tetraliner). One of the particularities of this tanker is its compact and large tank. This tanker is compact because of its large diameter of 2.300mm, which ensures a high maneuverability both when driving forward and reversing.

The Q-Bigliner is standard fitted with a Hydro-Tridem running gear with front lifting axle.

The hydropneumatic drawbar is also part of the standard equipment. This suspension provides the vehicle with outstanding road-holding capacities and even allows to drive at high speed in bends without compromising the stability.

The fixed drawbar ensures a weight transfer onto the back of the tractor both in loaded or unloaded position, which provides a better traction on unstable ground. These vehicles can be fitted with simple wheels (385/65R22.5) up to giant low-pressure tyres (750/60R30,5).

The Q-Bigliner tanks, like all tanks of JOSKIN spreaders, are manufactured according to the EN707 security standard and are therefore fitted with baffles, which prevent any important movement of the transported liquid.

The Q-Bigliner was designed for intensive transport and is not fitted with a pre-equipment for injector or spreading boom. Three models are available: 28.600, 30.200 and 31.800 l.

LIFTING DEVICE FOR FUNNEL ON PUMPING ARM

In order to place and use a funnel more easily, JOSKIN has developed a special stand on the pumping arm. Thanks to this, the user can easily place his funnel in the area where he is going to pump. In this way, movements to the pumping tool are reduced and it is not necessary anymore to fasten the funnel on the tanker side.

It is hitched in three points: two upper hooks and a lower fastening with spring which is also used as a safety device. Once the latter is locked and the arm lowered, the funnel is on the ground.

Its position then only has to be adapted so as to make pumping possible.

This lifting device combines ease of use and minimal overall dimensions.

ARTICULATED PUMPING ARM ON FRONT LINKAGE

The Belgian company JOSKIN, which is specialized in agricultural trailers as well as in slurry and muck spreaders, extends its range of slurry spreaders with a new pumping arm.

The new JOSKIN articulated pumping arm is a compact, comfortable and multifunctional filling solution on the front linkage of the tractor.

Thanks to a pumping height that can reach 4,5m and to the second part of the pumping arm of 3m long, it is possible to easily pump at the edge of fields both from a slurry tanker, a transport tank or a container fitted with a funnel and from a overhead tank fitted with a funnel. The double-acting cylinder connecting both parts of the arm controls the angle of the mobile part (max. 100°).

The cylinder is operated from a selector (DA) in the tractor, while the other functions of the arm (turbo, valve, etc.) are usually connected to the spreader control block, which allows a perfect synchronization of the control operations during the filling phase.

Thanks to this arm, pumping is easier and the driver has a better visibility when filling. Most of the time, the drive does not even have to fold the spreading tool back in transport position when pumping. There is indeed usually enough space thanks to the sloping angle of the arm to the giving machine. It of course represents a significant time saving on a working day.

Slurry is sucked up through the 8" pipe (Ø 200mm). The 8" turbo filler, which is mounted in a compact way at the basis of the arm, allows to speed up the passage of slurry in the (6" or 8") pipe under the tractor. The protection plate at the end of the turbo-filler protects the hydraulic motor in case of contact with the ground. The pipe with large diameter combined to the turbo filler ensure a higher filling speed.

The new articulated pumping arm can easily be hitched on the front triangle linkage. No more complicated manoeuvres! Once the pumping arm is unhitched, it rests in a stable way on its two stands. Its weight of 455kg ensures a long lifespan.
