For 8 months of 2015 the farmers of the European Union gained three times more of Russian agricultural machinery than at the same period in 2014. The total amount of purchased machinery is USD 9 mln. This data was provided by the Russian Association of manufacturers of agricultural machinery "Rosagromash".
The most popular are forage and combine harvesters; high power tractors; the equipment for grain cleaning and storage; sowing, tillage and forage harvesting machinery. According to the opinion of President of the Rosagromash Association Konstantin Babkin export growth is associated with high competitiveness of Russian agricultural equipment. "Russian manufactures produce modern and quality equipment that in their technical and economic features are competitive with foreign analogues, but cheaper for 50-60%".
Agricultural machinery manufactured in Russia are successfully sold worldwide – in Germany, France, Bulgaria, UK, Poland, Turkey, Canada, USA and other countries. At Agritechnica-2015 Russia will present the pavilion of manufactures of agricultural machinery. The exhibition will occupy about 900 square meters in hall No. 09, stand A30.
