Seregno (Italy), May 25, 2015 - Now in its XVII edition, with more than four million viewers around the world, Monster Jam is coming back to Europe to repeat the success of the 2014 tour. As always involved in the show is BKT as official and exclusive tire manufacturer thanks to an exclusive agreement valid till 2018 between Feld Motor Sport®, the promoter of Monster Jam, and Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT).
It is a one-of-a-kind event, in which Monster Trucks perform breathtaking stunts and timed races. Without any doubt, a thrilling show with the challenging performance of both trucks and tires undergoing immense mechanical stress. That is why BKT has designed and developed a special BKT Monster Jam Tire to equip the Monster vehicles offering exceptional performance and impact resistance.
The American extravaganza will make its first stop in Spain at the Mestalla Stadium in Valencia on June 6, the Vicente Calderon Stadium in Madrid on June 13, and the third and final stop in Spain will be the Estadio Olimpico Lluis Companys in Barcelona on June 20. The tour will then move on to Belgium, with the last event of the Europe summer program in the King Baudoin Stadium in Brussels on June 28.
The choice of becoming the official sponsor of such a large-scale show is part of the determined brand-positioning strategy of the multinational from India. A strategy, which has made BKT a major player in the Off-Highway tire market – not least thanks to strong, worldwide media coverage.
It is a major investment, which in addition to advertising and promotional campaigns on the industry's media and a strong international trade show presence, has yielded significant results for the group, both in sales and brand awareness.
