On 15 September 2021 the President of the European Commission delivered the State of the Union address before the European Parliament, taking stock of the EU's achievements of the past year and presenting priorities for the year ahead.
A retrospective of the past year, encompassing European Union's efforts to tackle the COVID-19 crisis and its work to deliver on all political priorities, is also available.
