In Essen, a not-to be-missed event is due on stage - a meeting point for the global tire industry, in which BKT takes part exhibiting its best products for agricultural, industrial and construction machinery and vehicles.
126 hektárnyi kopár sivatag néhány elszáradt, szélfútta cserjével, víz és villany nélkül. Így nézett ki a terület, ahol az 1987-ben alapított BKT (Balkrishna Industries Limited) gumiabroncsgyár pezsgő ipari központot hozott létre. Gyakorlatilag a semmiből, 500 millió dolláros befektetésének köszönhetően. A legkorszerűbb ipari berendezésekkel és létesítményekkel rendelkező gyáróriás a Gudzsarát (Gujarat) tartománybeli Budzs (Bhuj) városában épült fel, amely mintegy száz kilométerre található a pakisztáni határtól és 60 kilométerre az Arab-tengeri Mundra kikötővárostól. Az építkezés 2011 januárjában kezdődött, és ennek során egy nyolc kilométer hosszú ivóvízvezetéket és egy 13 kilométeres elektromos vezetéket is lefektettek. Bár az első gumiabroncsok már 2012 márciusában legördültek a gyártósorról, a teljes projekt csak 2016. év végén zárul.
Mint mûszaki érdekeltségû fiatalt keresett meg az Agro Napló és a Villepinte Kft. Promosalons képviselete, hogy látogatóként részt vegyek a párizsi SIMA mezõgazdasági kiállításon. Az ajánlatot megtiszteltetésnek vettem, és nagy örömmel elfogadtam, hiszen igencsak érdekesnek tartom a mezõgazdasági technikákat, technológiákat. Nagy európai kiállításokon már volt szerencsém részt venni, jártam már Bolognában az EIMA és Hannoverben az Agritechnika kiállításokon.
A kerekes járószerkezetű mezőgazdasági erő- és munkagépek ma már csak fúvott gumiabroncsozású futóművel készülnek. Ebből kifolyólag a mezőgazdasági gumiabroncsok fejlesztésének fő céljai között a vontatási képesség növelése, az erőátviteli hatásfok javítása, a nagyobb haladási sebességre való alkalmasság és különösen a káros talajtömörítő hatás csökkentése szerepelnek.
Átmeneti szárazabb időszak után kedden ismét csapadékosabbra fordult időjárásunk, és november utolsó napjaiban az igazi tél is beköszöntött már. Az Alföld déli és keleti tájain egyre nő a belvízzel elöntött területek nagysága, ami nem tesz jót az őszi vetéseknek.
