Every year, the jury has the difficult task of selecting and evaluating the competing tractors.
This year, 14 tractors from 11 different brands were chosen.
The candidates are divided into three categories:

• Tractor of the Year, open field tractors with no limits.
• Best Utility, multipurpose and utility tractors with more than 70Hp, max 4 cylinders engine, max operating weight 10.500 Kg, max wheelbase 2.550 mm
• Best of Specialized, orchard, vineyard, hill and mountain tractors.

• Massey Ferguson 8S.305 Dyna-VT
• New Holland T6.180 Methane Power
• Valtra T235 Direct

Best Utility 2022 contenders include:

• Claas Arion 470
• John Deere 6120M AutoPowr
• Landini 5-120 Dymanic
• Massey Ferguson 5S 145 Dyna-6
• Valtra A115 Hitech 4

Best of Specialized 2022 contenders include:

• Antonio Carraro Srx 5800
• Carraro Tractors Compact Vlb 75
• Ferrari Vega 85 Dualsteer
• Reform Metrac H 75 Pro.

All three main categories' selected tractors compete for a unique prize named Sustainable TOTY.
