HORSCH und Claas wollen einen gemeinsamen Weltrekord aufstellen
Unter dem Motto „24 Stunden – 24 Reihen Präzision“ versuchen HORSCH und Claas Ende nächster Woche (zwischen 26.4 und 28.4) einen Weltrekord in der Präzisionssaat mit hoher Geschwindigkeit aufzustellen. Einen ganzen Tag wird ein Team beider Firmen nahe des russischen Chaplygin alles aus der Einzelkornmaschine Maestro 24 SW (Maschine des Jahres 2012) und dem Claas Schlepper Xerion 5000 herausholen.

Agricultural machinery: first quarter in the red
Tractor registrations fell 24.5% in the first part of the year and other types of machinery were also down. The declines were steep because the figures are based on results for the first quarter of 2011 which were strongly positive because of the spin-off of incentives then in effect. In any case, the domestic market is not showing a reversal of the negative trend over the past few years. The national industries in the sector, said the president of the national agricultural machinery manufacturers association, Massimo Goldoni, are holding out thanks to the sound trends on foreign market and a resulting recovery in exports.

EIMA International 2012: bigger than ever before
The specialized review of agricultural mechanization will be celebrating its fortieth edition November 7 to 11 in Bologna with an all-time record for exhibition area committed. Beyond the 14 sectors of specializations, the event will present four specialized salons, to include the new Eima Green dedicated to gardening and groundskeeping. The excitement generated by the exhibition, FederUnacoma President Massimo Goldoni explained, arises out of its international characteristics as a crossroads for business in the sector linking the various areas of the world.
