FEDERUNACOMA: a federation of the mechanical industries

Unacoma, the organization which represents agricultural machinery manufacturers, has completed a transformation process to now become a fully-fledged federation made up of seven specialized associations in the category. Elections were held during an extraordinary assembly this morning in San Lazzaro, near Bologna, for the creation of the bodies representing the associations and federation. President Massimo Goldoni affirmed that greater independence for the associations and more political weight for the federation are the goals for this important development which enjoys the full support of Confindustria.

VDMA Agricultural Machinery Association: Further sales growth expected for 2012

“The agricultural machinery industry worldwide has enjoyed two exceptionally strong years. Following growth of 18 percent, to €80 billion last year, we are anticipating a further increase in sales figures for the current year,” summarised Dr. Bernd Scherer, Managing Director of the VDMA Agricultural Machinery Association, at the presentation of the new economic report in Frankfurt.

Eine Studie des vom Manager Magazin beauftragten trendence Instituts zeigt CLAAS wiederum unter den TOP 50 Arbeitgebern für künftige Ingenieurinnen und Ingenieure. Gleichzeitig liegt CLAAS in der Beliebtheit als künftiger Arbeitgeber weiterhin vor allen anderen Landtechnik-Unternehmen. Mit Oetker, CLAAS und Bertelsmann finden sich gleich drei Unternehmen aus Ostwestfalen-Lippe auf den vorderen Plätzen.

Organic Marketing Forum 2012

The 7th "Organic Marketing Forum - International Meeting on Processing and Marketing of Organic Products and Raw Materials“in Warsaw convinced exhibitors and visitors once again. The international meeting was visited by organic producers, traders, importers and farmers from 26 countries to discuss organic trends and to make new contacts. At the meeting was a change of the organic sector of Central Europe and Eastern Europe clearly to notice: from supplier of raw material to domestic markets with growing organic sales and an interesting offer of organic food to export. With approx 350 participants the Organic Marketing Forum had a constant acceptance from the European organic companies. In addition the conference program was well received, and the atmosphere among the visitors was very good. With this positiv results the Forum could extend its position as the largest international branch meeting for the organic market sector in Central and Eastern Europe.
