High-Pressure cooling and hog house cleaning – two functions but only one piece of equipment!
With the new equipement of Meier-Brakenberg it is possible to cool and high-pressure clean with only one pump and only one line system.
The centrepiece is a frequency controlled high-pressure pump with automatically adjusting rotary speed depending on the water output. The pump is connected to a central, stationary high-pressure line made of high-grade steel with tap connections for high-pressure cleaning. Outlets with magnet valves for each partition supply the jets for high-pressure fumigation with up to 140 bar. The extremely fine fog evaporates and the temperature in the partitions decreases effectively by up to 10 °C. Activation of cooling is effected temperature-dependent for each partition.
One or several high-pressure lances for cleaning can be operated alternatively or even simultaneously. The operator determines the water output and therefore the efficiency of the cleaning process by selecting the suitable jet size. Thus, one person could work with an output of 20 l/min and another one with 30 l/ min. That ensures best possible capacity utilisation. The pump always operates energy efficient in the best possible rpm-range.
Porky’s Cooltoy – toy and cooling at the same time!
Meier-Brakenberg presents an innovative dual purpose product at the EuroTier. Porky´s Cooltoy – playing and cooling at the same time.
Hogs push up a moveable ball and trigger the ejection of water fog sprayed on their nose and head area. That improves the well-being of hogs effectively at high temperatures.
The hogs determine the duration and frequency of the desired cooling effect. The interaction of playing with this moveable toy and the cooling water fog ensures long-lasting and interesting enrichment of activity.
The system can be easily installed in the bay and needs to be connected to the water supply.
