AutoGuide 3000™ will be available later this year for use in Western Europe on MT 700D and MT 800C tracked tractors, as a factory-installed option, which can also be retro-fitted to existing machines. For Eastern Europe AutoGuide 3000™ will also be available on the MT 500D and MT 600D wheeled tractors, the MT 900C articulated tractor, RoGator 1100 and 1300 self-propelled sprayers, as well as the rotary combines and windrowers. As most of these machines come ‘AutoGuide™-ready’ as standard from the factory, it means Challenger offers guidance and auto-steering as a ‘turn key solution’, without need for further anciallaries, and is ready for work immediately.
AutoGuide™ is a well-proven output-enhancing system that results in significant increases in productivity by reducing overlaps and misses as well as relieving stress on operators, who can then concentrate on improving quality and work the machine faster. Alert operators are also safer and more efficient drivers.
Simplicity of operation is a big feature of this next generation of guidance solutions. Basic and easy-to-use entry-level guidance is a one-part solution, requiring only the mounting of the AG-3000 TopDock Receiver. Guidance settings and control is done through the C1000 Tractor Management Centre (TMC), which comes as standard with a machine (TMC is optional on MT500D).
The optional advanced colour, touch-screen C3000 terminal offers an intuitive user interface and enhanced viewing, guidance, steering and monitoring.
