This month the Case IH team have been busy on various training courses; from team building in the wet hills of Scotland to dealer training camps in the dry fields of Hungary.

 



Additional After Sales Area Manager For Case IH



We are happy to welcome an additional member to the Case IH team. Martyn Williams has taken on the role of After Sales Area Manager for Wales and West Midlands. Martyn joins the team bringing a wealth of experience gained from working within the Agricultural industry for many years – With previous experience of a dealer supporting role and a history with the CaseIH product; Martyn is keen to excel in this challenging but rewarding position.

 

 

Training & Team Building In Scotland



As the weather began to turn this month, many of the Case IH team headed up to Stirling in Scotland for two days of team building and training exercises. The group of attendees was diverse made up of sales area managers, service zone managers and the marketing team taking part in the exercises and the whole team found the two days to be very beneficial. “Despite the interesting Scottish weather we all had a really good time and learnt a lot about teamwork, our colleagues and especially about how we handle ourselves under the stress that the activities were designed to induce” said Marketing Manager Charles Blessley. This was a fantastic opportunity to welcome new After Sales Area Manager, Martyn Williams who accompanied the team up to Scotland.

 

 

Mike Garwood At Alresford, Essex



Newly appointed Hampshire Dealer Mike Garwood exhibited a range of Case IH products at the Alresford show on 1st September. Tractors included a Puma 160 with peak PTO power of 203hp, a Magnum 315 and a 5130 combine with a 20ft header.



Mike said ‘this was the ideal opportunity for our customers to experience the product ranges first hand. We were pleased with the response especially the combine which seemed to be the most photographed machine at the show.’



The show was supported by Sales Area Manager David Redman who said ‘it’s a positive step for Mike Garwood taking the Case IH franchise. This will drive his business forward and I am very pleased that he is on board.’

 

 

European Training Camp In Hungary



Dealers from all over Europe are attending a Case IH training camp in Hungary which the UK team joined last week. They were given the opportunity to take part in practical field exercises and experience current Case IH products and view future developments.

 

 

National Ploughing Championships



Last week Case IH were present at the three-day National Ploughing Championships in Co. Wexford, Ireland. Despite the incredibly wet weather, the event had excellent attendance with around 150,000 visitors exploring classes of livestock, machinery handicrafts and live entertainment over 1,300 trade stands. In its 83rd year, the event hosted vintage machinery displays and ploughing horses showing the evolution of farming over the years. Congratulations to Case IH sales rep Aeneas Horan of Buckley Agri Listowel who won the ploughing match.
