Agro Napló
The festive season is here and many of you have been taking advantage of the recent frosts to get out on the land before Christmas. We’re preparing for a busy year which begins with LAMMA show in January, followed by Ernest Doe Power Show, FTMTA and a number of dealer open days taking place throughout February – we hope to see you there! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Case IH team.

Combine Customer Evenings

This week saw two more Case IH Harvesting events. Chris Armitage, Case IH UK Harvester Sales Manager, gave a presentation on the Axial-Flow combines at Hintlesham Hall in Suffolk and at Bowood Manor in Wiltshire. Both of these provided fantastic venues for a high profile evening involving a champagne reception and a three course dinner. Despite the below zero temperatures, customers at both venues were keen to view the Axial-Flow 9230 on Accutracs which was available throughout the evening.

Quadtracs Drilling in the Frost

With recent temperatures below freezing many have been taking advantage of the frosty ground. Quadtrac World Record breaker, Helen Rainthorpe, has been making the most of the recent harsh frosts, ploughing with a Quadtrac 535 and drilling 60 acres of wheat using a 440 STX. If you've taken any photos of your Case IH drilling this winter, we'd love to see them - please post your photos on our Facebook page!

Agriculture students enjoy trip to St Valentin tractor plant

Last month a group of students from Kingston Maurward College attended the Case IH tractor plant in St Valentin as part of a study trip to Austria. This visit is an annual excursion that allows students to gain an insight into Austrian agriculture and draw comparisons with the UK . The students, currently on the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Agriculture, described their visit to the Case IH plant as one of the highlights of their trip and told us how fascinating it was to witness the manufacturing process of the production line of such a dynamic company.
