Nufarm's CARNADINE insecticide is based on acetamiprid which has recently been relisted by EU authorities for 15 years, classified as a low-risk substance. Registrations have been granted in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece and Poland, and the product is awaiting approval in Bulgaria and Slovakia. CARNADINE offers superior and sustainable efficacy against major pests in oil seed rape, fruit and vegetable production, and has been deemed as non-harmful to honey bees, which gives to it a unique profile, fitting particularly well to integrated pest management programs.

Although acetamiprid belongs to the group of neonicotinoids, it differs significantly from the active ingredients whose use was significantly restricted in the past year. Acetamiprid has been classified by the regulatory authorities as being non-harmful to honey bees.
